Acting
He began his career as an illustrator and comic book creator, developing over fifty original characters during his teenage years. He started his artistic training in the performing arts at the Cali Conservatory of Fine Arts, focusing on the exploration of playwriting, literature, music, and graphic design. Along this path, he gravitated toward dramatic and comedic stories filled with hope and fantasy, ultimately leaning toward magical realism—or what he often calls "everyday magic." While developing his early projects, he illustrated storyboards for films such as *El Cartel de los Sapos*, *All your dead ones*, *180 seconds*, and *Live forever*. In addition to acting in television series like *Escobar, el patrón del mal* and *Comando élite*, and in films such as *Dog eat dog*, *TAll your dead ones*, and *180 seconds*, he developed content and series for international platforms in collaboration with 64ª Films. He is the author of various plays and musical compositions, as well as four fiction novels—*21st-Century Quixote* (1984), *How to Go Crazy: A Practical Guide* (1986), *The Barefoot King* (1994), *The Absent Lover* (2001), and *General Bolívar's Last Fight* (2002)—and numerous short stories and tales, notably *Daydreaming* (2003) and *Cuentos de registradora* (2004). His body of work also includes five short-film scripts and twenty-five feature-film screenplays.
