Acting
Nico Pelamonia was an Indonesian film director and actor. Pelamonia attended the Indonesian National Theater Academy (ATNI). He had acting jobs while he was studying at ATNI, and even had a gig as a TV director in TVRI. His earliest work in film was when he acted as an extra in the film Dibalik Awan (1963). In 1965, alongside Harun Rasidi and Tuti Mutia, he created the production company Pertisa Film, which later became Tuti Mutia Film Production. His directorial debut was Sendja Di Djakarta (1967), an adaptation of the Mochtar Lubis novel. Nico won a Citra Award in directing for "Semalam di Malaysia" (1975) at FFI 1976.
