Jon Osbeck – American actor, director, writer, and producer, with no publicly recorded birthplace or birthday. Based in Columbus, Ohio, he earned a B.A. in Film and Journalism (Summa cum laude) from Capital University and has been active since 1985. His most notable film roles include Army Doctor in A Man Called Otto (2022, directed by Marc Forster), Sarah's Brother in Dark Waters (2019, directed by Todd Haynes), Security Officer Williams in The Public (2018, directed by Emilio Estevez), Jon Carr in A Kind of Murder (2016), Provost in Goat (2016), and Cliff in Chain of Command (2015). On television he is best known for his series regular role as Bob the Announcer in A League of Their Own (2022, Amazon Prime, 7 episodes), created by Will Graham and Abbi Jacobson, and as Billy's Lawyer in American Rust (2021). As a filmmaker he wrote and co-directed Minus One (2010, Best Narrative Feature at the GI Film Festival), directed Supper (2021), and served as director, writer, and producer on Down to the Felt (2025).
