Since then, he has been part of Team Taz, The Embassy, Cage of Agony, and The Don Callis Family while continuing to compete on the independent scene. Pro Wrestling Illustrated named him the 2019 Most Improved Wrestler of the Year and ranked him No. 48 in the PWI 500 that same year. Outside of wrestling, Cage appeared alongside Lance Archer and Chavo Guerrero Jr. in Steven Spielberg's 2026 science fiction film Disclosure Day.
