Overview

The story of the final days of Britain's last deep coal mine, Kellingley Colliery in North Yorkshire, told by the rare breed of men who work half a mile underground, their wives and families, the trades unions and local MPs. A powerful, passionate and poignant tale reflecting the end of an era.
