An Egyptian actor born in 1920, he began his career as an employee in the Armed Forces' Public Affairs Department. He acted in military theater productions and performed with various other theater troupes, including the "Tholathy Adwaa Al-Masrah" (The Trio of Stage Lights) troupe.
