Struggling with a profound sense of isolation, 29-year-old D’s aimless life is interrupted when Kathy seeks refuge at his home following a rift with her partner. As the two spend an agonizing day waiting for a reconciliation call that never comes, they make desperate but futile attempts to bridge the emotional chasm between them.
