Overview

In the year 1965, Louisa, a young housewife, finds herself fighting for her husband's love against his preoccupation with the Vietnam War and his wish to become a military hero. As Louisa reaches for what she thinks she wants, she discovers that what she needs is to be independent, albeit alone.
