Overview
Tashi yielded many names and lives before becoming a Buddhist monk: Navadeep Reddy, the prodigal son of a conservative upper caste family from Hyderabad, India. Matharani, a mother goddess for his LGBTQ family during his years of activism. And now @buddhistandqueer on Instagram. Tashi is the living oxymoron and mirror of India as he walks the path of his faith and queer identity in the turbulent oceans of contemporary Indian politics.
